Great food and service at this local sandwich shop and bakery. Service was amazing with Amy. She took our order and was so friendly and helpful. Great location in downtown Upland. Great local vibe. Good parking behind the shop. Would recommend and will be back for lunch again.
Definitely a must try! We ordered croissant with cheese, bagel cream cheese, and roast beef sandwich. All of them are delicious and savory, but the croissant with cheese is my favorite. We were going to try the turon, but unfortunately, our schedule's packed that day. But yes, we will definitely try the turon next time!
The quality of the food is fantastic. My strawberry and cheese danish melted in my mouth, and they warmed it in the oven for me. They were also very patient with me, as it was my first time, and I wasn't sure what I wanted.
First time here and the server was amazing sweet. I ordered a cup of coffee, blueberry muffin, and a cinnamon roll. She was awesome! she made me a fresh cup of coffee and warned up my pastry. Also recommended me of theirs Specialty (The Japanese curry empanada). I tried its and it was delicious! Will come back for more soon!
This delightful bakery serves up the most amazing desserts and savory dishes! There’s a little seating within and outside the establishment. We had the most delicious cinnamon roll with a perfect balance of sweetness, and it literally melted in my mouth. We also tried a variety of desserts that included eclairs, puffs, guava, pecan and cakes and every one of them was a great as the other. Their bakers are incredibly talented. They can do phenomenal cakes of just about any request too! Lastly but most certainly not the least is their croissant. This big guy is in a league all his own! It’s not like a store bought croissant, it’s truly a fabulous melt in your mouth amazing treat! We also got Japanese curry turnovers that are sooo yumm. They also have chicken ones too. There’s pizza, spaghetti, salads and sandwiches as well. It’s apparent that everything is carefully crafted, and the folks there are so kind and considerate. They’re really excited about their products and care about the customers satisfaction. So whether you walk in for a take away, a sit down meal, or catering, it’s all here!
I've been coming here on and off for 20 years, the place is always consistent. I like the sandwiches and pizza. Also like the potatoes slices the sandwich comes with and fresh croissant. The server is always nice. The deserts are good as well. Great lunch spot. Support the small businesses! Or be a corporate shell..
Little hole in the wall bakery that had one of the best croissant sandwiches I’ve had. The croissant was freshly made, and was fluffy and buttery. 100% recommend.
I walked in to a happy greeting. Great service. I had empanadas (chicken/cheese, spinach/cheese, Japanese curry, guava) and they were SO GOOD! I also had to get cookies too and they were all delicious. My only negative comment would be that it tasted like one of my empanadas was fried in old oil. But overall, Great spot!
Super cute spot, awesome selection of pastries all made in house. Got a sandwich as the bread was coming out of the oven so it was extra delicious. And the man who helped me was very nice and accommodating
I cannot recommend Amy enough—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it tasted even better than it looked. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her craft. The cake was a huge hit—everyone kept talking about how delicious it was, and it made the celebration feel extra special. Amy was also so kind, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process, which made everything stress-free. If you’re looking for someone who delivers both stunning presentation and incredible flavor, Amy is the one. I’ll definitely be coming back for future celebrations!
